Trilobite Ridge Mountainside Rd. Montague, NJ . Trilobite casts and sections as well as abundant brachiopods in Devonian shale. Privately – owned property sharing border with State – owned woodlan Date: Sat Jun 10th Meet-Up Time: 9:00 am SHARP *** Trip starts 15 minutes MAX. from meet-up time !!!! *** Collecting will run until early afternoon as decided by co-leaders. Meeting Place: Tri-States Mall (w/ ShopRite) on Rt 23N in Montague, NJ. Meet in the FRONT parking area, adjacent to the Gas Station and opposite to the Chase Bank Lot. ** If using GPS do NOT enter “Tri-States Mall”. Instead, enter “ 14 Rt 23N Montague, NJ 07827” which is the address of the Chase Bank building. Directions to Trilo Ridge will be given out by Mike “the Pie Man” Dunton who will also do sign-ins / waiver. Trip Notes: Please carpool to the Meeting place if possible. Only 5-6 cars MAX can fit at parking area at site. Trip will be co-led by Mike Dunton in morning and rounded out by Dave Miller. **Please be mindful that Jeff Wilson, who is direct contact w/ property owner will be present for this trip. Co-leaders will attempt to field questions about local geology and history but not to same standard as Jeff Wilson. Follow any instructions given by Leon in addition to those given by Mike and Dave.** Bring: WATER, rock hammer, chisels, sledge, buckets, newspaper, snack Hard Hat Required?
