Join

Are you a mineral collector, professional mineralogist, a curator of public and private collections, a mineral dealer, a rock hound or just curious about minerals and fossils? Consider becoming an FMNJ member and joining our activities. Membership is open to all regardless of education or expertise.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday each month at at 7:00 p.m. at Monmouth Worship Center, 37 Vanderburg Rd, Marlboro Township, NJ 07746. Meetings are open to all members. We plan field trips, swap minerals and listen to talks by mineral and fossil experts. There is always time to show specimens and get help identifying the difficult ones.

Field Trips

In conjunction with the North Jersey Mineralogical Society, FMNJ runs field trips to mineral and fossil deposits in the MD, DE, PA, NY and NJ region to collect specimens. See our Trips page for recent and upcoming trips.
