NoJMS Trip to Paradise Falls, NY

What a great time NoJMS had at Paradise Falls in Newport, NY, on Saturday! 14 members attended our dig at this wonderful location in Central New York. Joel Davis was a superb host and guide and everyone brought home great Herkimer Diamonds! The weather was perfect for our trip. The find of the day was from Tim Hollister who found a very large triple crystal! Joel, our guide, made sure to give members anything he found while going from spot to spot, as well as a great education about the Herkimer Diamond zone, and the geology of Paradise Falls. Alternate Guide, Jeff Wilson brought the first group to the top of the hill, as Joel brought up the stragglers. Digging was fun and productive for everyone.
