In the second session of our Junior Rockhound class, young rockhounds will learn the importance of keeping detailed records of their finds! This hands-on session will focus on cataloging specimens, including identifying different rocks and minerals, journaling their characteristics, and labeling each specimen with a unique ID. By mastering the art of record keeping, participants will develop strong organizational skills and create a personal record of their rockhounding adventures that will help them track their discoveries and build a meaningful collection.
