June 2019 Meeting Summary

Well, we definitely rounded out the Spring season with a well attended June Meeting. Twenty-three or so folk were on hand to hear Derek Yoost lecture on sharks as a great precursor to the trip to Ramanessin and Big Brook two days later. As always, Derek more than delivered on his slide presentation and gave tons of information about various shark types and their former or current presence in our waterways. Derek also brought some shark teeth and associated merchandise to sell. As usual, the pizza was a big hit. The attendance was so huge, we’ll have to consider a larger room for the future if this was to occur again.
