Bobby Batic, long-time mineral collector and current VP of the Franklin Mineral Museum will present at the next NJMS meeting on 2/8. His presentation is entitled: "Brief Primer on Mineral Collecting History" and is intended to educate the community on some of the most important figures over the last 100 plus years of the hobby. The talk will focus on 2 collectors in particular - James Manchester and Wallace Goold Levison. He will also provide further context on the collecting environment, especially as it occurred during the time of the collectors he profiles.
